[03.01.2006] Test prints back from IFI

I ordered set of prints of photos taken in Nurburgring last autumn from IFI, most of them small but one was 55 x 75 cm (about 11€). Paper was matt finish, other option is glossy.

I did not use ICC profile this time. Quality seems to be very good but I have to investigate how much difference there is between large and small prints ie. would more pixels improve image quality of large prints.

[13.02.2006] First (and last) equipment investment of the year

I half accidentally bought Canon EF 17-40 mm f4.0 L wide angle zoom from ebay in weekend! I set quite low bid for one lens and suprisingle I won. I'm not complaining.

Now I can sell the 28-105 mm f3.5-4.5 and try out some wide angle photography. Should be useful lens for landscapes.
